PANTONE 17-4032 Lichen Blue
PANTONE 17-1328 Indian Tan
PANTONE 18-1112 Walnut

Different hues of Gray from Light Silver to Platinum and a dark Flannel.

What inspired your choice of colors?

For Fall/Winter 2016, Iris von Arnim has translated the contours, lines and shades of the scarce Icelandic scenery into her collection. Earthy colors like Cognac, Espresso Brown and Fango are designed in shell structures, cardigan stitch and zig-zag patterns.

What is the most important color in your collection for Fall 2016 and why?

For us, the Espresso Brown is the most important color of the season. It has a Grayish rather than Reddish shade and works well with our other key colors, which are Nude, Amethyst and Cognac. For silks, furs, knits and leather, we chose lighter and darker versions of this Espresso tone. For the knits we specially washed the yarn, which adds an optic depth to the color.

What is the must-have item for Fall 2016 and what color(s) is it?

Our must-haves are our hand knitted styles: a long vest, oversized sweater, a turtleneck with trumpet sleeves and an oversized scarf. They are all knitted in a large cardigan stitch structure with bi-color cashmere ribbon yarn. The colors are Espresso with Black, Black with White, White with Nude and Flannel with Platinum.

What color are you now attracted to that you would not have used in the past? What have you changed your mind about that color?

PANTONE 14-2307 Cameo Pink, we utilized is an unusual color for us. Once we saw in combination with the contrast color PANTONE 18-0312 Deep Lichen Green, we noticed the flamingo hue gains a unique beauty.
