I received an e-mail from the myPANTONE app with a .ase file attachment. How do I use this?.ase (Adobe Swatch Exchange) is a color swatch format for use within the Adobe Creative Suite. In order to use the .ase file created by the myPANTONE iPhone app, you need to place the .ase file in the apprporiate folder within your Adobe applications. Please refer to the path that is appropriate for your operating system and application. PLEASE NOTE: paths may vary slightly depending on the version of the Adobe suite that you have.
Macintosh:
Illustrator: Applications/Adobe Illustrator/Presets/Swatches
InDesign: Applications/Adobe InDesign/Presets/Swatch Libraries
Photoshop: Applications/Adobe Photoshop/Presets/Color Swatches/Adobe Photoshop Only
Windows:
Illustrator: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator\Presets\Swatches
InDesign: C: \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign\Presets\Swatch Libraries
