PANTONE Color Viewing Light

How do I calibrate my PANTONE Color Viewing Light?

There is no calibration necessary on the PANTONE Color Viewing Light. However, we do have several recommendations to make:

1. The bulbs in the viewing light should be replaced after approximately 1,500 hours of use. The newest models provide a hour meter attached to the daylight source.

2. Each light source contains a pair of bulbs. The bulbs should be replaced in pairs, even if only one burns out. This is because fluorescent tubes tend to decrease Kelvin output over time, and if a new tube is paired with an older one, this can lead to an inaccurate light condition and less accurate color viewing.

I hope you find this information helpful.
